Display books, file folders and ring bindersMain standard PP products made in Taiwan
LAN CHYN makes display books, file folders, ring binders and other document filing products. For our main standard PP products, PP sheet extrusion, cutting, die-cutting and assembly are carried out in Taiwan, with metal fittings configured to each binding requirement. We supply importers, distributors, brand owners, and institutional buyers — from corporate and school purchasing to public-sector programs — through standard products, bulk orders, and OEM / ODM manufacturing.

About LAN CHYN
The LAN CHYN brand dates back to 1976. What we do has stayed simple: keep documents organized, easy to find and smooth to flip through. From office filing and school teaching materials to corporate and government purchasing, everything is built around sorting, storing and browsing documents. LAN CHYN is based in Tucheng, New Taipei City, Taiwan, and our main standard PP products — display books, file folders, ring binders and similar items — are made in Taiwan.
With filing products, the difference often shows not on day one but after months of use: whether the cover still holds its shape, the pages still turn smoothly and the mechanism still closes firmly. LAN CHYN specifications focus on these practical details: the sheet thickness needed to keep a cover firm, the spine width required for pages to turn without binding, and the mechanism suited to the actual filing load. Confirmed specifications are kept under version control, so a repeat order reproduces the same construction — not just the same look.
If you have ordered from LAN CHYN before, send the previous quotation or purchase order, and we will pull up the same specification. For a first-time inquiry, send the document size, binding method, required capacity, intended use, estimated quantity, and destination market. For a repeat custom or private-label project, send the previous quotation, purchase order, or project reference.
Manufacturing
Our manufacturing base
LAN CHYN manufactures its main standard PP products — display books, file folders, ring binders and similar items — in Taiwan. PP sheet and blown-film extrusion, sheet cutting, die-cutting and final assembly are all carried out under our product specifications and production controls.
- PP EXTRUSIONPP sheet, board and film extrusionPP sheets and boards are extruded, and PP pocket film is blown, to our specifications, with thickness, color, transparency and surface texture adjusted to product needs; recurring specifications run under established process conditions.
- SHEET PROCESSINGPP sheet processingSheets are cut to product dimensions; outlines, rounded corners, holes and openings are die-cut; parts to be folded are creased (K-lines) before further forming.
- ASSEMBLY & PACKAGINGAssembly and packagingInner pages, metal fittings and accessories are assembled and checked, then packed to the agreed units per pack, units per carton and carton specifications.
For custom production and the specification ranges we can evaluate, see OEM / ODM Services.
Mechanisms
Metal fittings and mechanism integration
Ring mechanisms, lever clips, spring clips and other metal fittings are specified and assembled as part of the finished product, matched to the cover, the pages and the real filing load.
Each mechanism type is specified by size, number of rings, ring spacing, ring diameter, mechanism length, clamping thickness and mounting hole positions, then checked against cover sheet size, spine width, inner page holes and the intended filing capacity.
For questions about metal fittings on their own, see the FAQ in the binder mechanisms guide.
