This page sets out LAN CHYN’s actual practices for materials and regrind, workplace safety and labor conditions, and specifications and documentation. If you need documents for a supplier audit, government purchasing or export, it also explains how to request them.
Our Approach
What we actually do today
The practical issues in manufacturing document filing products are materials, production operations, working conditions, and documentation. What follows describes LAN CHYN’s current practices, not future goals or plans.
LAN CHYN is based in Tucheng, New Taipei City, Taiwan. For LAN CHYN’s main standard PP products, PP sheet, board and blown-film extrusion, sheet processing, and assembly are carried out in Taiwan under our product specifications and production controls; thickness, stiffness, color, transparency and surface finish are adjusted to product needs. Environment
E | Materials, regrind and waste
Most LAN CHYN document filing products use polypropylene (PP), identified by resin identification code 5, as the main body material; the material of each product is as stated on its labeling. This code identifies the resin; local acceptance for recycling varies.
Materials and construction
Product bodies are based mainly on a single plastic material, which is easier to sort at disposal than multi-material constructions. Metal fittings are metal components; they can be handled separately from the PP body according to the product’s construction and local regulations.
Edge scrap and regrind
PP process scrap that is suitable for reuse is granulated, and the resulting regrind is returned to extrusion under the applicable product or project specification. If a project has regrind-ratio requirements, raise them at the inquiry stage.
Packaging and waste
Outgoing packaging is mainly corrugated cartons, with liners and dividers adjusted to product size and pack counts. Non-recyclable scrap is collected and disposed of by the methods required under Taiwan’s Waste Disposal Act.

S | Workplace safety and labor
Our production operations in Taiwan are subject to the applicable Labor Standards Act and Occupational Safety and Health Act, with operating rules and protective measures in place for the extrusion, processing and assembly areas.
Employment and labor
No child labor. No forced labor. Working hours, leave and insurance are handled according to law.
Equipment and workplace safety
Machine operation and material handling follow zoned work rules. Necessary personal protective equipment is provided for the relevant work areas, and fire-safety and emergency-response equipment is in place.

For LAN CHYN’s main standard PP products, PP sheet and film extrusion, sheet processing, and assembly are carried out in Taiwan under our product specifications and production controls.
Governance
G | Specifications, records and documents
In B2B terms, governance means this: specifications, versions, quality and delivery are confirmed and recorded under our current procedures, and questions are answered from the records actually kept, within the scope agreed by both parties.
Specifications and version control
Product and project specifications are managed under version control. For custom projects, materials, dimensions, printing, packaging and acceptance terms are set down before quotation, sampling or production; later changes follow the version both parties confirm.
Production and shipping records
Production and shipping data are kept under our current procedures. For projects that need batch traceability, agree before ordering on which records to keep.
Customer files and artwork
Artwork, trademarks and project files you provide are used for that project’s evaluation, quotation and production. Confidentiality, retention periods or deletion after use can be agreed before the project starts.

For audits, tenders and export
Product and material data
Primary materials, country of origin, dimensions, and packaging specifications can be retrieved for the products covered by your order or project.
Third-party test reports
Where required, selected products or project samples are submitted for third-party testing. Available reports are retained for the tested item and scope. The date, test items and scope are those stated in the report. A report applies only to the identified sample and test items; it does not cover every model, color or production batch.
Export and tender documents
Documents for export customs clearance, government purchasing or customer audits vary in purpose and format — tell us early so shipping or bidding schedules are not affected.
If further testing is needed, test items, samples, schedule and cost are agreed before sampling or quotation.
